Class:
1. Students journal.
2. Read selections of poetry from Billy Collins' Sailing Alone Around the Room.
3. Make a list of 20 things you did yesterday and today.
4. Sometimes poetry isn't the big, huge stuff of our lives, but just things that you notice in a the course of a day.
5. Try composing a poem from that list.
